Lee Smith

Lee Smith is the Producing Assistant for Milk Presents and they handle the admin (because someone has to!). They are also Project Manager for Making An Entrance, Milk’s training opportunity for early career queer artists.

As well as working with Milk Presents, Lee also works as a Freelance Producer and Project Manager predominately on queer arts projects. Over the last few years, they have worked as a Producer with Marlborough Productions notably on their Trans Pride Season and their touring and artist development initiative, New Queers on the Block. They are currently working with New Writing South on Hear Us Out, their brand new festival of verbatim performance celebrating the stories of Older LGBTQ+ people. Lee has also worked with a number of independent artists including Byron Vincent, Ema Boswood, Emma Frankland, Marisa Carnesky, Sea Sharp and Subira Joy.

If you'd bumped into them at their favourite, but sadly now closed, queer venue the Marlborough Pub & Theatre they would have been hounding the many dogs that frequented the building.
