We spent three wonderful years working alongside The Berry and The Point Youth Theatres in Hedge End and Eastleigh, Hampshire.

Over that time together we shared theatre making skills, devised brand new work and staged full productions of plays written for younger people.

Productions included Daffodil Scissors by Philip Ridley and Burn by Deborah Gearing in a double bill of contemporary writing for young people and Strawberries & Steam by Chris Connaughton, a script commissioned especially for the young company. This was an intergenerational, immersive, cabaret show depicting the strawberry picking heritage of Hedge End. The show was made in collaboration with the Hedge End Women’s Institute, Spinney Hollow and Wildern community choir.
