This activist workshop looked at racism and structural violence revealed by and pre-dating the pandemic. Hear from guest speakers & reflect on your own experience. How do we hear each other across our different experiences? Where do our interests intersect, and how do we build material solidarity where they don’t? How do we build new relationships as we work together to create a Britain every one of us needs?
Facilitated by:
Shanice McBean and Nadia Vogel
Guest speakers:
Dr Aviah Day on state violence, incarceration and Prevent,
Lois Brooke-Jones on GRT experiences and health inequality,
Annie Olaloku-Teriba on refusing supremacist ideologies and building intersectional movements
The BSL Interpreters for the event were Ali Gordon and Jacqui Beckford
