Milk Presents are recruiting an experienced touring production manager to oversee the technical & logistical aspects of the first leg of their Marty and the Party Rehearsal period and National Tour. This person will be responsible for all production needs & manage & work with a cast of four and Company Apprentice on the road.

Marty is heading to the best party there has ever been in the history of ever. Everyone has their dance moves ready - Fox is doing the foxtrot, Flamingo is doing the flamenco! But what about Marty?

Duties:
Running production meetings with the creative team
Adapting the tech spec for tour
Liaising with venues about the technical needs of the show
Booking van hire for the transportation of the set
Attending rehearsals
Managing the technical rehearsals
Collecting, driving & returning the van
Managing the get-in’s/get-out’s
Setting props/costumes pre-show (alongside Company Apprentice)
Operating the show (alongside Company Apprentice)
Costume & running prop management (alongside Company Apprentice)
Teaching the company apprentice basic technical & SM skills required for touring
Managing the production budget, fuel & van hire budget & running costs budget
Who we are looking for:
Someone who identifies as LGBTQIA+ / someone used to working with LGBTQIA+ artists
Someone used to touring with companies of marginalised identities and sensitive to the challenges this may bring
Experienced production manager / stage manager (5 years +)
Operating experience
Full driving licence
Touring experience
Knowledge of some or all venues on the tour
Budget management experience
Good organisation and communication skills
Lighting & Re-lighting experience

There will be holistic touring support for everyone in the team, including a mental health support officer, show parent to support the touring company & individual access funds.
Details:
£600 a week* whilst on tour with travel, accommodation and £25.80/£18.20 per diems (depending on catering)
Or £200 a day* where appropriate
Touring: Travel & accommodation provided (single occupancy hotel/air bnb room, trains/van travel)

17th-20th October 2022, DÉDA (Derby) - Tech & Public Dress / previews
2022 PERFORMANCES
24th & 25th October 2022, Theatre Royal Bury St Edmonds
26th & 27th October 2022, New Wolsey (Ipswich)
